Recruit a Student or Graduate

Our students are eager to apply their knowledge to real-world problems and can help address the needs of your organization. Partner organizations can access our students and alumni for internships, placements, co-ops and to hire them as employees.

Organizations will receive support every step of the way from the YU Experience Team.

To recruit Engineering and Computer Science students from the Lassonde School of Engineering for 4, 8, 12 and 16 months co-ops, .

Capstone projects connect non-profits, start-ups, government agencies and businesses with student teams to work on open-ended and complex projects that aim to make a real impact. Organizations can pitch projects, mentor students and provide additional support.

Innovation York’s unit provides a single point of contact for community organizations seeking academic partners and research partnerships. It focuses on the translation of research results to better inform public policy and professional practice. The creation of partnerships between academia, community organizations and government enables the parties to address and solve problems relevant to today’s society.

Our team can help:

  • Identify academic collaborators for community-based research projects and student research internships, to solve real-world problems experienced in society
  • Support with government funding applications (where there is an academic collaboration in place) and developing knowledge mobilization strategies for applications
  • Provide training on knowledge mobilization strategies and tools

By partnering with York, industry and government can solve new research questions and develop and test innovative technologies and new ways of doing things. Innovation ºÚÁÏappis supporting the commercialization of intellectual property developed in the research labs of ºÚÁÏapp. Commercialization is supported through licensing activities, start-up company creation, or hybrid commercialization and entrepreneurship models. By partnering with industry, intellectual property developed at ºÚÁÏapp will have the maximum opportunity to be translated into new products, research tools, methodologies and services that will have a local and global impact.

Support for Entrepreneurs
Innovation ºÚÁÏappsupports entrepreneurs and start-up companies through , ºÚÁÏapp’s entrepreneurship hub. YSpace provides individualized programming, workshops and mentoring to support entrepreneurs on and off campus with building, launching and scaling their start-up ventures. YSpace is also home to ELLA, Ontario’s first accelerator focused on supporting women-led product and service-based businesses and the Food & Beverage Accelerator, Ontario’s first growth accelerator supporting scaling food and beverage businesses in the consumer-packaged goods space. Our physical incubator space is in Markham and is supporting growth-ready ventures. At our Glendon campus, supports French-speaking or bilingual French/English Entrepreneurs.

Schulich ExecEd is the career-long learning arm of Canada’s leading business school, the Schulich School of Business. We partner and collaborate to deliver 160 customized development programs to approximately 250 clients in Canada and globally on an annual basis.

The SEEC offers an extensive portfolio of non-degree courses at three levels of one’s career path:

Early-in-Career
Over 12 programs focused on foundational and essential skills necessary to prepare aspiring and emerging leaders

Mid-Level-Career
Over 60 programs focused on developing management and leadership skills necessary to secure one’s role or prepare for their next role as a senior leader

Osgoode Professional Development offers intensive micro-credential programs to help employees in a variety of functions gain a practical understanding of relevant law and compliance obligations.  Offerings include but are not limited to human resources law, privacy and cyber security law, procurement law, contract management in IT and construction. We work with both private and public sector organizations to design and provide training in a variety of modalities, including online delivery. Osgoode, through OsgoodePD, has more offerings designed for executives and professionals than any other law school in North America. A law degree is not required.


Our Glendon campus offers French-language and bilingual French/English professional development programming for individuals and groups. Examples of programs include Business Communications and Project Management Fundamentals.

ºÚÁÏapp offers a wide variety of unique meeting and event spaces on both the Keele and Glendon campuses that are available for corporate and social events of any kind. ºÚÁÏapp has meeting rooms with capacities ranging from 25 people to lecture halls for 500 people. The campus also offers a variety of accommodation options for groups or individuals, including a hotel, suites and traditional student residences. Our full-service team is equipped to help execute your vision from start to finish and anything in between.

Our experienced and professional team at understand the needs of our customers. We welcome thousands of visitors every year to ºÚÁÏapp to engage in events within a unique campus environment. We are proud to serve many clients who return on an annual basis due to the consistency, quality and value that we provide.In addition to meeting and event space, we offer accommodations year-round.

The Food Services team will impress your guests with healthy, nutritious and delicious dining options. We strive to offer diverse menu options that cater to your expectations. Choose to dine at over 40 locations on campus or opt to work with our innovative chefs to create a customized menu from simple refreshments to a full-service dinner.
